• Firearms Offences – Firearms discharge residue, modified or altered firearms, air rifles and pistols assessments.

• Burglary Offences – DNA Profiling, Footwear Impressions, Fabric impressions and fibre transfer, Tool marks on window and door entries, particulate material transfer such as glass and paint fragments, Fingerprint analysis.

• Sexual Offences – Identification and DNA profiling of all body fluids such as semen, blood and saliva, distribution of semen, fibre transfer between items of clothing, identification of saliva on clothing or intimate swabs.

• Homicide Offences – DNA profiling of body fluids such as blood found on clothing, footwear, weapons either at the scene or at a place thereafter. Firearms discharge residue on his/her person or on clothing, blood distribution patterns and the transfer of bodily fluids. Analysis of angles at which force i.e. knife enters body to establish whether intentional, self-defence. Use of left or right hand in attack. This could assist in establishing the causation of assault/homicide and in many cases FMC Experts has assisted defendants in corroborating their version of events.
